I am working on a big project for work. It’s a big challenge and a worthwhile endeavor. Unfortunately, it means that many evenings look just like this.

I had a blast at the Jonathan Coulton/They Might Be Giants show in Tulsa at Cain’s Ballroom.. This belated birthday present (the show was originally scheduled for September) really made what was otherwise a pretty tiring week. I got to talk to some old friends who I hadn’t seen in a long time, see one of my all time favorite bands and spend some quality time with my darling. What’s not to like!

Plus, it was great to see that lots of other nerds like me escaped their IT departments for the evening.

It was a horrible day of car troubles. Grace’s car’s engine light came on last night. And now I have two tires with slow leaks. So for an exciting morning off, I spent it siting at the tire store so we can have at least one car in good working order.

It was a pretty uneventful day so my best picture was this column in front of the restaurant at lunch.

Grace woke up feeling really awful this morning. We made a mistake of going to the doc-in-a-box right after they opened. This put us in the back of a really long line. After two hours, the waiting room had finally emptied out enough that we knew we were getting close.

Not the best way to enjoy a Sunday.

It was a good day. We had a great lunch at Lido in celebration of the Chinese New Year. We then went to Sara Sara Cupcakes, well, just because. I got this nice picture of Grace with her son Alex.

Yeah, it’s a pet picture, but it was an extremely uneventful but busy day so it was a run around the house looking for a picture kind of day.

People were telling me all day that I looked really tired. I guess I see what they mean. More sleep would be nice.

Spent a fun evening watching the Thunder beat up on the New Orleans Hornets with my sweetie. It was a good game and we had some nice seats.

I forgot my real camera today, so I am stuck with a lousy picture of the rain today.
