I’ve gotten a couple of concerned IMs today wondering about the lack of a webcam. My port replicator has died which has left me without enough USB ports to support the webcam. I hope to have everything back up and running by tomorrow or the day after.
I have posted a gallery of Random Pictures of the Day for December 2003 that can be found here.
Well I decided to do a little playing around with .NET this evening. You would not believe what a pain it is to connect .NET to a MySQL database. I finally found a nicely written .NET data provider for MySQL from a company called ByteFX. Anyway, now on any of non-blog pages of my site, you can see links to the last two blog posts on the right hand menu. Not too exciting, but kinda fun to build.
I’ve posted a review of Audrey Tautou’s latest video release, He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not.

I noticed some problems with RadicalWacko and Macintosh IE browsers this afternoon. I’m not going to be able to get to them till this weekend, but I wanted to let you know that I am aware of them and I’ll work them out ASAP.
I’m glad to report that RadicalWacko V 2.0 is finally complete. While I had been really happy with the old layout, it was reaching some limitations in it’s flexibility. So I once again utilized the incomparable Andy Sheppard for a new design. You’ll notice a new color scheme and layout plan. I have also started using more thumbnail images to be nice to you poor dial-up users out there. Please let me know what you think; I’d be interested in your thoughts.
The blog will be down intermitantly this evening starting around 5:30 PM while I release the new site design.
Looks like all issues regarding the web cam are fixed.
There is some sort of problem with the web cam. My web server seems to be having a replication issue that prevents the images from being updated. It is exchanging images every 30 minutes or so, but I’m looking into it.
I know it’s been awhile since I posted on of these. I think I just needed an absolutely dreadful movie to get my dander up enough to write one. Well, Tomb Raider certainly lived up to that classification.
