I’ve posted a new photography gallery of various images. Let me know what you think.
I hate to use foul language, but this is fucking sick. I just saw this ad again after a long absence and my temptation was to scream. So let me get this right, the government, in its infinite wisdom, decides to criminalize a personal, self-destructive behavior in the name of “public health”. Therefore, the distribution of products for this personal, self-destructive behavior falls into the hands of people who do not care about the law. And yet, somehow this becomes the purchasers fault and not the governement’s? Give me a break! The government brought violence into the situation by passing the laws in the first place and we, the public, reap the consequences. It is not the other way around.

Now this is absolutely absurd! Resigning a job over a museum looting? Talk about having your priorities way out of whack!
I’ve already tried this product, and it’s pretty neat. Think of it as Seti@Home II. The Looksmart search engine has released a screensaver called Grub that uses unused CPU cycles and network bandwidth to crawl the Web.
In interesting technical news, BEA Systems, IBM and Microsoft have proposed a robust standard for Web Services to the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Systems (OASIS).
OK, here is the current stupid quote of the day. An un-named E.U. diplomat on the lifting of sanctions in Iraq:
“If you lift sanctions you lift the control of the United Nations in what is going on in Iraq.”
First, is this the same level of control the U.N. exerted for the last 12 years? Secondly, are you trying to say that you’ll blackmail the U.S. with the prospect of starving Iraqis in order to make sure you get your cut? Shame on you.
OK, here is some obese absurdity. A 420 lbs. man is suing McDonalds for discrimination, under the American’s with Disabilities Act, for not hiring him. Come on, they were just trying to protect their food stocks and also avoiding another fattening food lawsuit.
